Testing on backflows in the typical ground box outside of residency or business takes 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the condition of the assembly in the ground. Over time rain water can cover the assembly with mud or debris causing the valve handles to corrode making it difficult or impossible to open and close. In these cases additional labor or material cost will occur.  You will be notified of any additional charges prior to test being performed.

The typical residential backflow assembly is located in a box near the main water source or water meter and serves the building main water line or irrigation system. Businesses and Commercial buildings may have domestic backflows in a storage room and mechanical rooms.

Backflows attached to the fire sprinkler system residential or commercial must be tested by a Backflow Assembly Prevention Tester employed full time by a fire sprinkler company.

Paperwork and coordination efforts will be handled by All Assembly Backflow in most cases.  We are required by law to submit ALL Test Results. You will be notified if test fails and will be given an estimate to bring the assembly up to code.
